Patented Fabric Tensioning System

DuctSox’s patented SkeleCore system utilizes an internal framework system to enhance aesthetics and improve performance characteristics. There are two SkeleCore models to choose from, FTS (Fabric Tensioning System) and Pull-Tight.

What is Fabric Tensioning?

A force that provides consistent stretch to BOTH the entire length
and circumference of the fabric duct system.
  • Why You Want It?
    • Helps maintain the same appearance with or without any air pressure in the duct.

    • Ideal when higher aesthetic value is desired, when cycling is frequent, or when systems are designed with variable air volume.

    • Eliminates disruptive tendencies such as motion and noise upon AHU start-up, especially in hard start applications.

    • SkeleCore FTS features a unique metal-to-metal Direct Hang Cable method which is the SAFEST suspension in textile ducting.

    • Fabric longevity is extended by minimizing system movement at fabric seams, attachment points, and fittings.

    What do you expect from your internal framework system?

    When you purchase an internal framework tensioning system you expect the system to provide a taut appearance across the entire system not just at the ends or where each tensioning ring is positioned. This means that the ductwork is pulled tight so there are no wrinkles or sagging with the fabric.
